Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer specialising in Roads and Highways to join our growing team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. This exciting opportunity is specifically for Emirati Nationals as part of our commitment to developing local talent in the engineering sector.
- Assist in the design and development of road and highway projects using AutoCAD or similar design software
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to prepare technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor construction progress
- Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis for road and highway projects
- Contribute to the preparation of project reports and documentation
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local construction standards and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvements
- Support the development and implementation of quality control measures
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of road and highway design principles and construction processes
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Must be an Emirati National
