Job Summary
Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. As a Junior Accountant you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting processes ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those with minimal experience who are looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Help prepare and process invoices ensuring timely payments.
- Support the monthly reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and forecasts.
- Assist with regular audits and help provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Two years of experience required; internships or coursework in accounting preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Odoo) is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Open to candidates under 30 years of age with a keen interest in growing within the field.
