Jr. Legal Advisor

The Position • Drafting, reviewing and advising on a variety of commercial contracts. • Supporting Finance Manager in legal matters. • Providing advice on disputes, litigation and compliance. • Promoting awareness of legal risks within the business territory through internal training and counselling. • Creating and maintaining an annual schedule for legal and regulatory compliance reporting for individual business units. • Carrying out Legal and factual research including the review and monitoring of new and updated laws and regulations and preparing memorandums of advice for departments as instructed / required. • Representing the company on legal proceedings in the court of law. • Reviewing vendor contracts, company policies, and advising changes suitable to all. • Monitoring compliance and other legal issues and ensuring no escalation to claims and disputes occur. • Resolving employer-employee dispute through arbitration and mutual consent. • Drafting forms for contracts, employment, and other policies with legal significance. • Arrange and File all documentation related to contracts. • Handle basic contract negotiation.
