IT support engineer

Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system administration tools.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure are available.
Monitor and test application performance to detect any potential weaknesses, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those solutions.
Maintain security, backup and backup strategies.
Write and maintain custom software to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time in any tasks.
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
Providing second and third level support.
Providing monthly reports to management.

Required profile of candidates

4 to 6 years minimum experience.

Proven practical experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux /Windows environments.

Strong experience in managing and tuning the performance of application suites (e.g. CRM, Microsoft AX, Call Center, etc.)

Strong experience in firewalls, preferably in Sonic Wall.

Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware and Virtual Box)

Experience in monitoring systems.

Strong knowledge in networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
