Attega are hiring for our well established client who are one of the UK's largest electronics manufacturer. The successful Finance Manager will have a 'hands on' approach with strong people skills to come in and manage a team of two, reporting directly and working closely with the CFO in order to deliver improvements in reporting, processes and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Development of variance analysis reporting to help drive operational efficiency and company profitability
• Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Preparation of weekly cashflow forecast
• Preparation and submission of quarterly UK Vat returns
• Preparation and submission of P11D forms
• Completion of National Statistics
• Manage, train, develop and carry-out annual appraisals
• Improve financial processes from a control, efficiency and consistency perspective
• Deal with the operational management in relation to quarterly and annual audits
• Monitoring and preparation of R&D projects to support annual R&D claim
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system
• Provision of ad-hoc information as and when required by the CFO

Skills and experience:

• CIMA/ACCA Qualified
• Manufacturing background preferred
• Good working knowledge of UK VAT
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or related field
• Between 5-10 Years' experience of working with a Finance Department
• Attention to detail
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Team player with pro-active approach
• Proven track record for system development / ERP implementation & improvement
• Working knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system preferred
