IT Project Manager- Ecommerce

Job Title: IT Project Manager Ecommerce

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans including scope timelines resource allocation and budgeting to ensure the successful implementation of ecommerce initiatives.

2. Ecommerce Platform Expertise: Leverage indepth knowledge of ecommerce platforms and technologies to make informed decisions about platform selection integrations and customizations.

3. Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with web developers (internal and external ) UX/UI designers marketing professionals and IT specialists to ensure seamless integration of ecommerce initiatives with existing systems and processes.

4. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements provide project updates and ensure that the ecommerce project meets the needs of the business and its customers.

5. Agile Methodologies: Utilize agile project management methodologies to facilitate iterative development adapt to changing requirements and deliver value to the business in short cycles.

6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to ecommerce project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

7. User Experience (UX) and Conversion Optimization: Focus on improving the user experience of the ecommerce platform and optimizing the conversion funnel to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

8. Highly experienced in managing Tier 1 Vendors: Manage relationships with external vendors or ecommerce solution providers to ensure the successful delivery of ecommerce solutions and services.

9. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement to innovate and enhance the ecommerce offering.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in IT or business or related field or an MBA.
• 8 years of experience in Project Management within Ecommerce.
• Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms and technologies
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in leading agile ecommerce projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Strong problemsolving and risk management skills to address challenges and mitigate project risks.
• Leadership skills to drive the ecommerce project team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Advanced technical skills and experience of managing Ecommerce programs and projects.
• Excellent documentation and comprehension skills.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word Excel Power point and Visio.
• Excellent planning organizational and time management skills.
• Experience leading major projects in the market and part of topperforming teams.
