Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy between warehouse management systems and physical stock while supporting inventory control cycle counting stock reconciliation and warehouse optimization activities. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity identifying discrepancies and driving continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy between system records and physical stock.
• Perform cycle counts and coordinate periodic physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory accuracy.
• Ensure item masters stock quantities locations and inventory statuses are accurately maintained.
• Support warehouse storage optimization and housekeeping initiatives.
• Prepare inventory reports analysis and performance metrics for management.
• Provide inventory-related training and guidance to warehouse operations teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve receiving storage and outbound processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Logistics Warehouse Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Inventory Control Warehouse Operations or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel MS Word and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics distribution or supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.
• Hazardous Materials certification is an advantage.
