Internal Auditor

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of the SOX program (SOX compliance, testing…)
• Internal audit missions
• Contribute to internal audit missions as per the annual audit plan

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a business related field
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
• 3+ years of auditing experience
• Strong technical audit and accounting skills, including knowledge of SOX standards, U.S. GAAP, COSO Framework, GAAS, IIA and PCAOB Auditing Standards
• Public Accounting experience, preferably from a Big 4 Accounting Firm
• International/public company experience is a plus
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to complex problems
• Self-motivated individual with ability to operate independently, and work well in teams
• Ability to interact comfortably across all levels of management in a global environment
• Ability to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations
• Proficient in English, French is also preferred
• Foreign language speaking/reading skills is a plus (especially Spanish or German)
