HVAC ENGINEER
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong background in EPC projects to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing and delivering HVAC systems for industrial facilities including substations control buildings analyzer shelters laboratories cold storage rooms workshops and warehouses.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and engineering of HVAC systems for industrial facilities in EPC projects
- Direct Expansion (DX) systems: split units packaged units precision cooling
- Chilled Water systems: AHUs FCUs chillers cooling towers pumps
- Ventilation systems for hazardous and classified areas
- Pressurization systems for control buildings and substations
- Preparation of HVAC Design Basis documents
- HVAC Specifications and Design Reports
- HVAC Calculations including heat load cooling load and system sizing
- HVAC Control Philosophy and Control Narratives
- Cause & Effects (C&E) documentation
- Duct and pipe sizing with pressure drop calculations
- Interdisciplinary coordination for HVAC document preparation (Civil Electrical Process Instrumentation)
- Preparation of Material Requisitions (MRs) for HVAC equipment and materials
- Technical Datasheets for HVAC equipment
- Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for vendor quotations
- Review of vendor documents and drawings
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 1012 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering within EPC environments
- Prior experience with Oil & Gas Petrochemical or Power sector projects is preferred
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP Elite HVAC AutoCAD Revit MEP)
- Strong knowledge of international standards: ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA IEC
- Experience with area classification (ATEX/IECEx) HVAC design
- Excellent technical writing and document preparation skills
- Strong interdisciplinary coordination and communication abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced EPC project environments with tight deadlines
