We are seeking a highly motivated & passionate optometrist to join our well-established team! The right candidate will provide routine eye exams, as well as a broad range of treatments related to ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, inflammatory eye disease, and dry eye syndrome to patients within a nursing home. Optometrist will see patients within the area of Utica, NY.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
  
• perform dilated exams
  
• provide diabetic evaluations
  
• treatment of infection and injury
  
• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
  
• Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
  
• Comfortable working with geriatric population
  

Requirements:

• Be available full time
  
• Possess a valid OD/DO license in the state of NY
  
• Be Board Certified
  
• Quickly acclimate to new environments
