We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitality and Safety Engineer to join our team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our facilities and operations.

Job Description:As a Hospitality and Safety Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols procedures and initiatives to ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests employees and property assets. You will also play a key role in optimizing facility maintenance and engineering operations to enhance the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Management:
   • Develop implement and maintain comprehensive safety programs and protocols in compliance with local regulations industry standards and best practices.
   • Conduct regular safety inspections risk assessments and audits of facilities equipment and operational processes to identify hazards mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
   • Collaborate with department heads and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness accountability and continuous improvement through training education and communication initiatives.
   • Investigate accidents incidents and nearmisses analyze root causes and implement corrective actions and preventive measures to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
   • Coordinate emergency response and crisis management procedures including evacuation drills first aid training and communication protocols to ensure effective response and recovery in emergencies.
2. Engineering and Facility Management:
   • Oversee the maintenance repair and operation of mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality energy efficiency and guest comfort.
   • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules to minimize downtime extend equipment lifespan and reduce operational costs.
   • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship adherence to safety standards and timely completion of projects.
   • Monitor and analyze facility performance metrics such as energy consumption water usage and waste management and implement strategies to improve sustainability and environmental stewardship.
   • Provide technical expertise and support to various departments including housekeeping food and beverage and guest services to address facilityrelated issues and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality management safety engineering or facility maintenance preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Professional certification in safety management (e.g. Certified Safety Professional Occupational Health and Safety Administration) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations codes and standards applicable to the hospitality industry.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Effective communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software and facility management systems is desirable.
