Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head of Department (HOD) for Chemistry who is a native English speaker to join one of the top schools in Al ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the education industry and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. As the HOD for Chemistry you will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum development managing the department and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Chemistry curriculum
- Lead and manage the Chemistry department
- Provide guidance and support to Chemistry teachers
- Monitor and evaluate the academic progress of students
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in an American or British curriculum.
- Teaching qualification such as a Diploma in Education or an active teaching license
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Native English speaker
