Heavy Truck Mechanic

Dream Communication System LLC, a leading company in the transportation industry in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a dedicated Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Mechanic, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy prime movers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy prime movers

- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire replacements

- Inspect and repair engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, and brake systems

- Utilize diagnostic tools like Jaltest for troubleshooting

- Repair or replace faulty parts including fuel pumps, injectors, alternators, and gearboxes

- Maintain accurate service records and report completed work efficiently

- Specialize in Scully system repair, calibration, and troubleshooting for diesel tankers

- Conduct maintenance and repair of valves, Robin PTO pumps, battery control systems, GPS devices, and camera surveillance systems

Requirements & Skills:

- Strong electrical and mechanical skills for heavy vehicles

- Understanding of fuel handling safety standards

- Minimum 5 years' experience in tanker maintenance

- Expertise in RTA truck passing

- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle components

- Ability to work efficiently and independently on complex repair tasks

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and report issues effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in heavy truck maintenance or related field

- Experience with a variety of heavy truck brands and models
