Heavy Truck Driver

A logistic company in Ajman, UAE is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver to drive heavy trucks within the UAE, delivering goods to clients, and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining routine vehicle inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, and adhering to all laws and regulations related to driving and parking. Effective communication with dispatchers, warehouses, and customers is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive heavy trucks to transport goods across the UAE

- Deliver products to clients in a timely and professional manner

- Manage the loading and unloading of goods efficiently

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out

- Adhere to all laws, regulations, size, weight limits, route designations, and parking guidelines

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouses, and customers

Requirements & Skills:

- Possession of a valid UAE heavy truck driver license

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Heavy Truck Driver in the UAE

- Clean driving records with a strong focus on safety

- Energetic, honest, and reliable individual

- Proficient in English speaking and writing

- Knowledge of all routes within the UAE

- Familiarity with UAE traffic rules and speed limits

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in defensive driving or road safety courses
