Job Summary

This role is essential for someone with handson experience in the manufacturing industry particularly in the area of rotating equipment. As a key member of our team you will leverage your expertise in manufacturing drawings CNC 5Axis machining and CAD/CAM applications to maintain and repair our corporate equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in the manufacturing of spare parts for rotating equipment including process selection manufacturing plans and CAM programming.
• Offer technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot repair modify existing equipment and identify cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
• Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Implement the latest technology in manufacturing methodology.
• Develop and revise departmental technical procedures and standards.
• Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers quality inspectors and technicians.
• Provide technical input for purchasing specifications including technical proposal evaluation.
• Collaborate with department engineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) and other company departments and manufacturers.
• Coordinate with InHouse Repair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractors and vendors for shop repair work scopes.
• Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in the manufacturing field with specific expertise in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in CNC 5Axis machining and CAD/CAM applications such as NX Siemens and Solidworks.
• Experience in reverse engineering is highly preferable.
• Ability to train and develop younger engineers.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
