Front Office Developer

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include but will bot be limited to:

• Developing, implementing and managing software applications for the Front Office.
• Collaborating with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
• Overseeing the software development process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Performing regular software updates and maintenance tasks.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A successful Front Office Tactical Developer should have:

• Good knowledge of JAVA/C#/C++, Python, Excel / VBA, SQL (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Experience in software development within the financial services industry.
• Exposure to Derivatives, ideally in a front-office facing role, and an in-depth understanding of the business
• Previous experience working alongside trading desks, business management, Quantitative Research and IT teams to build and deliver solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  

What's on Offer

• A competitive day rate of up to £600 per day Inside Ir35.
• 12 month initial contract with the possibility of an extension
• Ability to work in a hybrid format commuting to the London office
