FINISHING CIVIL ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities :

• Supervise and manage all finishing works on-site including but not limited to plastering painting flooring tiling ceiling joinery and decorative works.
• Coordinate with project managers subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of finishing activities in line with project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and provide daily/weekly reports on site activities resource utilization and materials.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings method statements and within the specified time and cost.
• Inspect and close out snags and punch lists in coordination with the QA/QC and handover teams.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals related to architectural and finishing works.
• Maintain high standards of quality safety and housekeeping on site.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly and effectively.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finishing works on large-scale (mega) construction projects in the UAE (Mandatory).
• Contracting company background is essential.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations construction practices and finishing standards in the UAE.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and technical documents.
• Strong leadership coordination and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
