Finance Director

• Build, develop and manage a strong and capable team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, general ledger, and other specialized finance functions as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records and prepare financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal / external stakeholder requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and external advisors.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive financial performance and control financial risk.
  

Your Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial operations, financial reporting, or any relevant field.
• Experience in the retail industry is advantageous but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, control processes, accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in software and tools required to perform the key responsibilities.
