Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented Finance Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Finance Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance departments daily operations and ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Prepare and file financial documents reports and statements
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
- 13 years of experience in a similar finance assistant role
- Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred)
- Adaptability to learn new financial systems and processes quickly
