- Direct the predefined development expenditure and Fixed Assets related internal controls and recommend improvements accordingly across all countries and regions.
- Assist Finance Manager in assessing, communicating, and managing all financial risks within the AMBU Finance “Hotels”.
- Implement processes to ensure regular balance sheet, P&L and cash flow reviews are carried out as well as timely reconciliation of all cash, bank and intercompany balances, down to single asset level.
- Ensure that GS project team capitalized all the projects in a timely manner and maintain consistent with IFRS and company policy and procedures.
- Ensure processes and capability to produce and deliver timely and accurate statutory accounts that reflect the financial position of the HBU.
- Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations in all locations. Use technology as an enabler and lead Systems implementation and improvements initiatives from both an IT and financial perspective.
- Execute reliable and efficient control systems that seek to prevent fraud and ensure appropriate controls are in place throughout the HBU.
