Job Description:

Octopus Digital is looking for Field Service Engineer in Dubai Region. You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our company coordinating and administering highlevel onsite and remote automation technical support and rendering services to the installed base at our customers. You will be responsible for efficiently reporting the full life cycle of Incidents and Problems. The position will require close collaboration with all teams across Technical Support Sales & Business Development.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• The incumbent will be responsible for leading field service delivery.
• Ensure critical customerfacing activities are executed inline with business performance.
• Successful outcomes in the position should be linked to increasing favorable ratings by our customers reflected in customer feedback.
• Service Avanceons customer base for service maintenance & technical support for Field Instruments i.e. Hartenabled devices and ATG system.
• Strong capability & competency to carry out diagnostics repair maintenance and calibration of E&H Instrumentation.
• FMCGs and Process industry including Oil & Gas Power Chemical & Petrochemical.
• Develop and perform preventive maintenance plans & activities conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Identify and resolve longterm instrumentation asset concerns (reliability improvements).
• Attend to emergency technical support requirements for corrective maintenance.
• Document activities to maintain and improve the data repository in the companys information management systems.
• Advise inform and effectively communicate information to specify or recommend equipment and designs for process control and data acquisition systems.
• Complete adherence to internal processes and procedures.
• Communication with OEM & stakeholders to be successful at work delivery.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably in Electronics/Mechatronics) with at least 3 years of experience in specification development installation troubleshooting repair testing and calibration of industrial instrumentation systems and equipment.
• Handson experience on Rockwell.
• Sound knowledge of process instrumentation & measurement systems applications in Oil & Gas Food & Beverages Petrochemical & other manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of Preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial instrumentation systems and equipment.
• Understanding and interpreting P&ID content and format including ISA symbology and naming conventions for hardware and software.
• Fluency in communication skills and command of English to effectively communicate with customers and other stakeholders including foreign OEMs.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as lead teams of technicians.
