Events Project Manager

• Event planning and production – develop and implement concepts, project scope and plans, budgets, technical and labour schedules.
• Sourcing venues, negotiating terms and setting up agreements.
• Coordinate with service providers and suppliers – manage all event logistics including but not limited to food & beverage, ground transportation, media and production equipment (staging and audiovisual), entertainment, décor and registration process.
• Manage onsite operations including changes to schedules, equipment or workforce.
• Prepare post-event analysis and reports based on metrics to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
• Event marketing and promotion – collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective event marketing strategies. Assist in creating email and social media campaigns and promotional materials. Monitor registration metrics to drive attendee engagement.
• Ensure all projects adhere to mandatory health, safety and risk regulations.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 7 – 10 years’ as a seasoned events project manager / exhibition manager with extensive experience of managing large-scale and high profile events from start to completion in the UAE.
• The inherent ability to work to deadlines and under pressure whilst adapting to clients changes.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen to maximize project profitability – negotiate supplier contracts and up-sell additional services to clients.
• Ability to utilize data-driven insights to optimize future events and enhance the overall event strategy.
