Responsibilities
• Analyze vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and estimate costs.
• Review repair orders and inspect vehicles to create accurate estimates.
• Calculate materials, labor, and time needed for each repair project.
• Communicate with customers and insurance companies regarding estimations and approvals.
• Keep detailed and organized records of estimates and repairs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, pricing, and technologies to provide accurate estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure availability and pricing of parts.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers to maintain cost-effective estimates.
