Commercial Interior Design is the leading interior design industry title in the Middle East. The position of Editor is suitable for skilled dynamic and experienced journalist to run the publication across print digital and social channels and work towards the whole groups long-term goals.

Working alongside the Group Editor they must have a keen eye for detail and be able to spot a story as well as being able to support the commercial team with creative solutions for clients and support the events team with our industry-leading awards events and conferences.

• The overall production execution and management of Commercial Interior Design across print and digital products determining what medium is best suited for a particular content piece and making sure it is published to deadline.
  
• Maintaining a strong working relationship with the commercial team.
  
• The content strategy and planning of editorial calendar across digital print video audio and social.
  
• The ideation and development of creative front covers for the monthly magazine.
  
• Meeting digital subscriber targets and finding ways to grow the audience within brand guidelines.
  
• Ensuring all content reflects overall content/editorial strategy.
  
• Ensure the titles editorial standards are met all relevant copyrights have been cleared the content is legally and morally safe content is optimized for SEO and meets local and legal guidelines.
  
• Being an ambassador for the title and wider company.
  
• Developing revenue-generating content strategies and establishing good external relationships.
  
• Representing the brand internally and externally.
  
• Use contacts and social-media networks to identify industry trends and react to them with strong editorial content.
  
• Be able to attend events outside of office hours.
  
• Embrace a digital-first publishing philosophy.
  

Technical Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of WordPress Google Analytics Adobe InDesign Canva MS Word and Excel.
  
• Excellent knowledge of META products and LinkedIn.
  
• Adobe Photoshop Premiere Pro Illustrator and PowerPoint skills are desirable.
