Job Summary

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Helper Cum Driver to support the AMI Smart Gas Meter Installation Operation and Maintenance Project. The candidate will assist field technicians with installation and maintenance activities while ensuring safe and efficient transportation of manpower tools and materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive company vehicles to transport technicians tools and materials

Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off for field teams

Follow all UAE traffic laws and company driving policies

Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues

Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle

Assist technicians in installation of smart gas meters

Carry tools equipment and materials to site locations

Support basic installation activities such as mounting and setup

Assist in maintenance inspection and replacement of meters

Ensure work areas are clean and organized

Load and unload materials and equipment

Track tools and materials issued for daily tasks

Support warehouse/store operations when required

Follow all HSE (Health Safety & Environment) guidelines

Use always required PPE

Report unsafe conditions incidents or hazards immediately

Maintain vehicle logbook and fuel records

Assist in basic reporting of site visits and materials used

Requirements

Valid UAE Driving License (Light Vehicle Mandatory)

Minimum 12 years of driving experience in UAE

Experience in construction utilities or gas projects preferred

Basic knowledge of tools and field work

Physically fit and able to work outdoors

Basic communication skills (English required; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with gas meter installation projects

Knowledge of safety practices in field operations

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

Required Skills:
