Director Strategy

• Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge; have a strong understanding of global as well as industry specific trends related to Majid Al Futtaim businesses and focus industries/ geographies, specifically on Leisure, Entertainment, Cinema and F&B

• Lead the development/ refresh of the long-term and corporate strategies in close collaboration with our business unit leads and to the communication of the strategy to the relevant stakeholders

• Ensure that the business units are fully aligned with the corporate strategy when developing their annual operating plans and budgets and challenge their plans, where applicable

• Develop and oversee country strategies, specific value creation/ turnaround strategies and emerging business model strategies

• Actively participate in content development and preparation of other group wide strategy workshops
