Director of Recreation

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for recreation and marina services to align with the overall objectives of the hotel cluster.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of recreational facilities and marinas, ensuring seamless and exceptional service delivery.
• Provide effective leadership to a diverse team, including recreation staff and marina personnel. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Elevate the guest experience by introducing innovative recreational programs, entertainment, and marina services. Continuously seek ways to exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure all recreational activities and marina operations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. Implement protocols to maintain a secure environment.
• Develop and manage budgets for recreation and marina departments, optimizing resources while maintaining service excellence.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to create integrated guest experiences and effective promotional campaigns.
• Provide ongoing training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and ensure a high level of service competency.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, guest feedback, and areas for improvement.
  

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Recreation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of recreational trends and marina operations.
• Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
