Our IT Project Managers will support the creation of the technical documentation, project planning, and implementation of a global technology This is a hybrid position based in our facility in Van Nuys, annual pay range is $95,000 - $120,
What you will do:
- Work with matrixed engineering teams, technical managers, and business units to define & document project objectives, schedules, resource requirements, budgets, and project deliverables for enterprise application projects
- Manage global projects, provide guidance and support to team members, and ensure that goals are completed as specified
- Lead various project meetings, including routine core team working sessions, steering committee, and sponsor reviews
- Create a document repository for project documents, deliverables, and reports
- Manage and build trusted relationships with teams and stakeholders
- Innovate and implement new ideas for continuous and sustainable improvement, including process enhancements that reduce cost, achieve team satisfaction, and improve enterprise-level support
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working as a technical project manager or delivering projects related to IT
- Experience with managing and influencing teams across multiple geographies
- Willingness to travel (~20%)
- Strong knowledge of programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Concur, Jira, and Confluence
- Effective communication skills, ability to prepare and present presentations to stakeholders and various levels of employee populations
- Knowledge of project life cycle management and development methods such as Scrum and Agile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the abilities toward creative thinking and tactical planning, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational prioritization, conflict resolution, and facilitating decisions
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and market conditions
