- About Our Client Our client is a semi-government entity which is involved in Vision 2030. Job Description The Database Administration Manager will be responsible for: Agreeing SLAs with internal clients, and ensuring SLAs are met by the team Maintaining and support databases and related software applications Installation and configuration of new database software applications Ensuring data integrity Planning and management of periodic database system backups Health check reviews of databases Management of user accounts and access Driving efficiency of databases Installation, monitoring and tuning of SQL Server based applications Performance improvement of databases Building relationships with relevant stakeholders Managing the database administration team Contract management of key vendors The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will be/have: At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), or related fields of study 6+ years of experience in a relevant role, of which 2+ years have been in a managerial role Experience of working in a 24/7, high-security organisation Previously managed multiple databases, with many different technologies Strong experience in Oracle Database Project management skills Ability to manage a multicultural team Ability to interact across the organisation hierarchy What's on Offer A competitive salary package with benefits is on offer for the successful candidate
