Job Description

- Operate the barge cranes in lifting / lowering and loading / off-loading operations of cargo or personnel as required with excellent communications with banksman/rigger/Bosun and boat/vessel in case of boat to barge transfers
- Ensure weights being lifted / loaded or offloaded are within the SWL of the crane and the weight is properly
- lashed and lifted correctly
- Ensure the crane is operational at all times and report any defects in case of any after using it
- Assist in required deck operation work in case the crane is not being used
- Conduct daily crane pre-use checklist and ensure all items in the list have been properly correctly checke before use
