Cost Controller

Education and training:

A cost controller is usually required to possess an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Higher degrees may be an added advantage.
Professional certifications such as the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) can be helpful.
Experience:

It is preferable to have previous experience in financial or cost control. Experience in similar positions can be a plus.
Analysis skills:

You must have strong analytical skills to accurately understand costs, expenses and returns.
Knowledge of accounting software:

You must be familiar with accounting and budgeting software and be able to use it effectively.
communication skills:

You must have good communication skills to interact with different departments within the organization and present reports and analyzes clearly.
