Job Summary
Hill International is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction and consultancy services with a proven ability to manage commercial aspects of largescale development projects effectively
- Lead the commercial management of projects ensuring compliance with contracts and financial objectives.
- Oversee cost control procurement contract administration and risk management.
- Manage claims variations and dispute resolution in collaboration with legal and project teams.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.
- Provide commercial reports forecasts and financial assessments to senior management.
- Support project teams in achieving budgetary and contractual targets.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management within construction and consultancy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local regulations in the UAE.
- Proven track record in cost control contract management and dispute resolution.
- Excellent negotiation leadership and communication skills.
- Professional certification (e.g. MRICS CIOB is a plus.
