Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced College Lecturer in English to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in English literature composition and language. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching a deep understanding of the subject matter and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lectures tutorials and seminars in English literature composition and language

Develop course materials including syllabi lesson plans and assignments

Evaluate and grade students assignments papers and exams

Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience

Stay updated with current trends and developments in the field of English literature and language

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Engage in academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals

Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters

Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in professional development activities

Qualifications:

Masters degree in English literature language or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a college or university setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of English literature composition and language

Experience in curriculum development and course design

Proficient in using technology in teaching and learning

Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment

Passion for teaching and commitment to student success

Experience in academic research and publishing
