Civil Engineer Steel Structure

Reports to the Civil and Structural Engineering Coordinator or their representative. Supervises activities within the engineering team, with a primary focus on construction and civil components, both in head office and on site.
Performs engineering activities with a primary focus on delivering results that meet high quality, compliance and schedule standards. In the exercise of their duties, they may be assigned to work with other companies and may also be deployed on site.
Ensure that the quality of delivered products meets the contractual requirements of project contracts while adhering to the assigned budget and schedule. Collaborate with professionals in different production centers to achieve this goal.
Support the Group Leader in ensuring the application and continuous updating of departmental and company standards, procedures and work instructions. Providing technical training based on management and company needs, and sharing experiences with colleagues throughout the Technimont Group to assimilate new design techniques. Assist the group leader in preparing lessons learned for the identified competencies.
Stays up to date on technical advances in the specialty and disseminates knowledge to other specialists and engineers. Market monitoring to provide technical and commercial evaluations of new products, technologies, workflows and applications.
Ensure the issuance of design calculations and inspection of drawings relating to concrete, steelwork and pre-structures, following instructions provided by the Group Leader and in agreement with the Civil Project Leader. Establish general design standards for each project.
Providing assistance during testing, installation and construction, especially for structures managed by Al-Madani project leaders. Establishing internal accounting standards consistent with economic improvement standards.
Evaluate modifications to domestic and foreign standards, and inform civil project leaders, engineers and estimation group leader of relevant impacts. Attending meetings when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned, with a demonstrated connection to maintaining high standards and contributing to the success of the team and projects.
