Overview:
To build and lead the entire Marketing organization and function at Core42 and to lead the team strategy planning implementation monitoring and optimization of everything related to brand communications portfolio and product marketing.

The CMO is a key leadership role in the organization responsible for driving accelerated business growth and results through innovative marketing across the full spectrum leading the companys overall marketing and brand strategy and aligning it to market and customer needs while constantly being at the forefront of innovation by deploying and leveraging the latest marketing trends including relevant platforms and technological advancement.

Core42 is the UAEbased nationalscale enabler for cloud and generative AI combining G42s expertise across multiple technology domains into a common platform for Enterprise AI. Building on a comprehensive set of capabilities across cloud infrastructure and services data and AI highperformance computing and digital services our mission is to empower organizations industries and nations through the transformative power of AI.

Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer you will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing and communications strategy ensuring business growth brand building and providing strategic support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Your responsibilities will encompass the following areas:

In this strategic role you will not only shape the marketing landscape but also contribute significantly to Core42s overall business success. Your leadership will empower the marketing team to be the bridge between marketing product management sales and customer success ensuring a cohesive approach towards achieving business objectives. Building and nurturing the brand culture internally and fostering strategic partnerships externally will be instrumental in driving Core42s growth and impact in the market.

The ideal candidate is a proven people and business leader with a track record of growing other senior leaders and teams and delivering consistent business outcomes and results. The leadership responsibilities of the role are broad and diverse and cover people and team leadership marketing budget management financial accountability for marketing ROI strategic planning and performance management across strategic KPIs across revenue growth and customer success metrics.

Strategic Direction and Business Growth
:
  • Lead the development and execution of the Core42 overall marketing strategy anchored around a shared purpose for brand equity building accelerated business and revenue growth customer focused engagement and demand generation.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall business plan offering strategy and gotomarket (GTM) strategy ensuring alignment and synergy between marketing and broader organizational goals.
  • Set the strategic direction for marketing and communications objectives leveraging deep functional and business expertise to deliver on business priorities through targeting campaigns brand building storytelling and customer experience design.


Brand Building
and Communications:
  • Oversee the implementation of the Core42 Marketing strategy across various areas with a strong focus on positioning the brand in the local and global arena.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that focuses on customers and partners success and create brand enthusiasts.
  • Embody the brand internally and externally ensuring consistency and resonance in messaging and visual identity.
  • Develop comprehensive media planning strategies including mainline direct and digital marketing to effectively reach target audiences and maximize profitability.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that align with Core42s strategic goals utilizing both traditional and digital marketing tactics.
  • Strategically plan and oversee the execution of events to enhance brand visibility engagement and profitability.
  • Develop and implement CSR initiatives that align with Core42s values and contribute to positive social impact enhancing the organizations reputation.
  • Establish a robust crisis management framework and lead the organizations response during challenging times ensuring brand integrity and trust are maintained.
  • Position Core42 as an industry thought leader by developing and promoting insightful content and industry expertise.


CustomerCentric Approach and Loyalty:
  • Champion a CustomerCentric mindset across all Core42 business units contributing to the creation of value and ensuring customer focus.
  • Drive customer acquisition retention and brand loyalty through effective sales enablement and customer success strategies.


Product and Portfolio Marketing
:
  • Develop product and portfolio marketing strategies providing dedicated support and guidance to product management teams.
  • Collaborate to create marketing materials and define the best marketing strategies for product launch and success.
  • Build the connection between the portfolio products and solutions and the brand to ensure a cohesive and selffulfilling brand exposure.
  • Build a worldclass product and portfolio marketing team that serves as a bridge between our product/engineering teams and our sales and customer success teams and leads driving product and portfolio strategy value proposition growth and investment plans pricing strategy and field and sales enablement as well as provide product/engineering teams with relevant market and customer insights to contribute to evolving our product roadmap.


Sales Enablement and Strategic Sales Support:
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to enable sales and demand generation.
  • Develop and implement sales enablement strategies to optimize customer acquisition and retention.
  • Define a robust process to capture marketingqualified leads with a welldefined handover and SLAs to our sales teams with appropriate measurement and KPIs.
  • Develop a customeracquisition plan to penetrate new segments and accounts

Market Intelligence Insights & Trends:
  • Lead efforts to conduct indepth market research competitor analysis and customer insights to identify emerging trends opportunities and potential threats.
  • Utilize datadriven insights to inform marketing strategies product development and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Be the champion to inform the organization and all key stakeholders about the industry trends technological advancements and consumer behavior shifts that could impact our business.
  • Implement a brand tracking system to measure and analyze key brand performance metrics and continuously assess the impact of marketing initiatives on brand perception and adjust strategies as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key agencies media partners and other essential stakeholders.
  • Explore and establish strategic partnerships to enhance Core42s market presence and customer experience.


Leadership and Team Empowerment
:
  • Curate an optimal team structure and talent pool.
  • Attract hire and retain top talent internally and externally for the relevant roles
  • Intentional development planning and career growth for Directs and broader organization
  • Empower your team to create the needed relationships and connections with key stakeholders fostering collaboration and alignment for business and brand success and growth.


Brand Culture:
  • Foster a strong brand culture within the organization ensuring that Core42s values and mission are deeply embedded and broader alignment with G42 brand strategy guidelines and values.

Qualifications:
To qualify you must have
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or related field (Masters degree preferred)
  • 20 years of experience in Marketing & Communications Product Marketing or related function/discipline
  • 5 years of experience in a CMO role leading a large team or organization or a relevant leadership role within a global company or a leading regional brand preferably in the technology space
