Cargo Supervisor

• Actively follow and promote the Safety and Security policies and ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same. These policies to be always followed within the port environment to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all.

• Instructs subordinates in safe working practices maintaining and reporting day-to-day observations in operational areas for unsafe working practices.

• Ensure proper verbal and documented handover to incoming work shift.

• Prepare and execute daily toolbox talks on shift start, and as well always once required, ensuring team is up to date with safety and operational requirements and targets.

• Ensure vessel operations documentation is handed over properly to vessel gangs.

• Maintain close communication and coordination with operators and other stakeholders in regard of weather conditions, ensuring safety practices and addressing it properly to line manager.
