Supervise and ensure the safety of children during after-school hours.

Plan and lead age-appropriate activities including arts & crafts games STEM projects and literacy enrichment.

Provide academic support including homework help and tutoring when needed.

Foster a positive respectful and inclusive environment for all participants.

Manage behavior using positive discipline strategies and support social-emotional growth.

Communicate effectively with parents guardians and school staff regarding student progress and behavior.

Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports.

Set up and clean activity spaces ensuring materials and supplies are well maintained.

Participate in staff training team meetings and ongoing professional development.
Education:
-
High school diploma or GED (required).

Associates or Bachelors degree in Education Child Development or a related field (preferred or in progress).
Experience:

1 year of experience working with children in an educational recreational or camp setting.
Skills:

Strong classroom management and group leadership skills.

Creativity in planning engaging and inclusive activities.

Excellent communication organization and interpersonal skills.
-
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Bilingual (especially in Spanish Mandarin or other community languages) is a plus.

Familiarity with child development or behavior management techniques.
