We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Accounts & Finance Officer to manage the company s financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance proficiency in QuickBooks and handson experience in VAT return and refund processes. This role requires a professional with a solid grasp of accounts payable/receivable reconciliations budgeting and financial MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process vendor payments and follow up on receivables
- Handle expense reports and staff reimbursements
- Conduct monthly quarterly and annual reconciliations (bank intercompany etc.
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and coordinate VAT refund processes
- Assist with audits ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit and compliance purposes
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and MIS reports
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts and cash flow management
Banking & Finance Operations
- Manage online banking portals for payments transfers and reconciliations
- Handle banking documentation KYC updates and relationship management with financial institutions
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Indepth knowledge of VAT return and refund processes in the UAE
- Experience in audits financial reconciliations and reporting
- High level of accuracy attention to detail and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA CPA CMA) is a plus
- Prior experience in a similar industry or SME environment
