Job Description

- Oversee month end closure and GL, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness and compliance with policies, standards (i.e., IFRS).
- Supervise AP and AR processes end-to-end.
- Manage the treasury and cash flow for the region including monthly reporting and reconciliation.
- Supervise tax matters, i.e., VAT / WHT declarations and manage CIT project whilst ensuring compliance with guidelines set out by tax authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Support audit cycles (internal and external), providing necessary documentation and information for all entities.
- Monitor and analyse accounting and other financial processes, creating a culture of continuous improvement to minimise costs and other inefficiencies.
- Manage and maintain business relationships with local and regional stakeholders such as auditors, advisors, other store teams etc.
- Lead and mentor a team of AR, AP and Treasury professionals.
