Java Backend developer with AWS

Location: hybrid with 2-3 days onsite per week at Tampa FL. (Need Local to FL only)

We need a very strong back end developer in Java and golang. VMB is more a infrastructure team that requires Developers. This team is a team of developers that write code all the time.

Design and develop applications using the new development stack - Java, Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microservices.

The existing monolithic application collects the Verizon router/modem's event logs, health track information and also provides the information to other applications Convert the existing monolithic application to Microservices and cloud based (AWS and DevOps) application Use DevOps practices and tools to increase organizations ability to deliver the application and services at high velocity Use Spring Boot framework to develop microservice based web services that consume JSON data and produce JSON output Create Docker images for each micro-service and deploy it to AWS Use AWS services for computation, storage and scalability to help leverage the application Create Restful web services using Spring MVC and implement the business logic Use Agile development methodology for continuous development of the requirements Continuously integrate changes in application as required, deliver bug free code and serve customers effectively.

Enhance and update our fully automated Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment pipelines and for Agile projects Create prototypes in collaboration with our device vendors on upcoming devices and technologies
