About the Role
MY Door LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices taxation and financial reporting. Experience in the construction industry will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
Process supplier invoices payments and customer collections.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
Process WPS (Wages Protection System) salary files and payroll.
Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
Maintain the general ledger and monthly financial reports.
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
Coordinate with management regarding financial reporting and budgeting.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
2 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Hands-on experience with:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
VAT Filing
WPS Payroll Processing
Experience using Odoo ERP is mandatory. Experience with similar ERP/accounting software will also be considered.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Construction industry experience is a strong advantage.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
