Our client a well-established luxury real estate company based in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their finance team. This role is strictly for candidates with prior UAE real estate accounting experience and will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including AR/AP bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with UAE accounting standards
- Handle commission accounting related to property sales and broker payments
- Ensure compliance with AML regulations and internal financial controls
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits when required
- Maintain accurate documentation for real estate transactions and client accounts
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities
- Use Zoho accounting software for financial tracking and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience within the UAE real estate sector (essential)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE financial practices
- Experience with AML compliance
- Proficiency in Zoho (mandatory)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Russian-speaking or Filipino candidates preferred (client request)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
