The Accountant is reporting to the Finance Manager and is responsible for ensuring that the day to day finance activities of the company are carried out smoothly.
To ensure that all financial activities are recorded timely and accurately in the books in order to generate reliable reports
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Treasury - Opening of Letter of Credits, Bank Guarantees and ensure bank charges are as per bank facility agreement and other related activities;
- Payables - Ensuring that foreign & some local suppliers are paid within the agreed credit terms' Supplier reconciliation and other related activities;
- Reconciliation - Ensuring that invoices received are as per the accrued pre agreed rate and check the variance if any;
- Intercompany - Raising of debit or credit notes to intercompany and reconciling balances;
- Bookkeeping- Recording of invoices and other accruals and prepayments;
- Receivables - Recording of receipts & other related activities.
