Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AC Technician with a construction background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and their installation maintenance and repair. They will also have experience working on construction sites and be familiar with the unique challenges and safety requirements of this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Install maintain and repair HVAC systems on construction sites
- - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems
- - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
- - Coordinate with construction team to ensure proper installation and placement of HVAC equipment
- - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on construction sites
- - Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- - Communicate with project managers and clients regarding project timelines and any issues that may arise
- - Train and mentor junior AC technicians as needed
- - Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
Qualifications:
- - High school diploma or equivalent
- - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AC Technician preferably in a construction setting
- - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their installation maintenance and repair
- - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- - Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulations
- - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- - Good communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - Valid AC technician license or certification is a plus
