A L&D Executive will support Human Resource related activities including learning and development and training performance management and employee relations initiatives.
What will I be doing
As a L&D Executive you are responsible for all Team Member related activities. These activities include recruitment learning and development and training performance management employee relations health and safety and other teambased activities. Specifically The L&D Executive implements Human Resources policies and systems framework as directed by his / her superior maintaining good team member relations:
- Manage all Human Resource administration and onboarding activities
- Support Human Resources activities including onboarding work experience program careers fairs training materials and Team Member opinion surveys
- Serve as the point of contact for Team Member issues advising the Human Resources Manager as appropriate
- Keep current with employment law human resources policies and training requirements
- Assist in determining training requirements and support training initiatives
- Assist in the organization of Team Member social events
- Provide quality training to internal customers
- Assist in coordinating and administering Vocational Qualification
- Adhere to inhouse training plan
- Identify training and development needs systematically throughout the hotel in conjunction with Line Managers/Head of Department and HR Manager
- Assist Line Manager/Head of Department in achieving training objectives and review on a monthly basis
- Prepare organise administer and conduct inhouse training courses ie. Recruitment and Selection Discipline and Grievance
- Ensure new employees have received departmental and legal training
- Hold monthly Departmental meetings with trainers to ensure training needs are being covered

- Previous experience in Learning & Development / Training
- Strong administration and communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail while multitasking and delivering work on time

- Demonstrated trust and confidentiality as a member of the Human Resources Team
- A passion and enthusiasm to be part of a winning team
- Proficiency at an intermediate level with computers and computer programs including Microsoft programs
- It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Tertiary qualifications or other collegiatelevel degree in Training or Human Resources
