To assist in discharging duties related to cost management of the enablement functions and business units:
- Provide monthly financial reports to Support Divisions with detailed variance analysis and focus on cost analysis etc..
- Provide transparency on costs including guidance vs. budget and forecasts aligned to overall group targets
- Generate analysis on specific cost increase with an understanding of key drivers supporting Central MI and Analysis
- Support adhoc projects relating to the cost function.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Generic Accountability
- To support certain Enablement functions from a cost standpoint and generate analysis on key cost drivers
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Manage the preparation and development of the MI reports for the respective functions including adhoc analysis as required
- Provide appropriate variance analysis flagging required action for corrective measures and identifying and measuring cost drivers to monitor
- Manage the budgeting process for the respective functions through a bottomup aggregation of cost asks balancing it against topdown guidance
- Support functions in hiring needs understanding impact of costs on budgets and runrates. Ensuring both staff & nonstaff costs remain within budget (including the runrate)
- Helping functions manage costs through various valueadd initiatives
- Responsible for inputs into the HO Cost Allocation rules for the Group

Qualifications :
Minimum Experience
- Must have Bachelors degree.
- Required: Professional qualified Accountant (CA ACCA etc) or Masters level qualification
Minimum Experience
- 15 years relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 10 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Finance function specifically with experience in managing / reporting on costs.
