Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Baker in our organization you will be responsible for creating a wide variety of delicious baked goods from artisanal breads to exquisite pastries and cakes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the success of our bakery.
- Prepare and bake a diverse range of highquality breads pastries cakes and other baked goods
- Develop and test new recipes to expand our product offerings and meet customer demands
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked items
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed
- Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff
- Assist in menu planning and pricing of baked goods
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and special requests
- Stay uptodate with current baking trends and techniques
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional baking experience
- Proven expertise in various baking techniques and ability to create a wide range of baked goods
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Creative mindset with a talent for developing new recipes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Proficiency in controlling food and labor costs
- Experience in menu development and pricing
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customerfocused approach with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings weekends and holidays as needed
