tMart our dark store business is the regions first dark store concept offering 2030 minute delivery of groceries to our customers.
We are currently hiring for a General Manager of tMart UAE who will be responsible for driving the growth of the dark store business across the UAE with the below responsibilities:
- Setting overall Commercial and Operations strategy (mission format positioning) and identifying new market opportunities setting targets for revenue and growth and formulating business strategies with platform.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth such as partnerships collaborations and be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Working closely with the marketing and growth team to develop strategies for acquiring and retaining customers. This may involve setting marketing campaigns analyzing customer clusters and optimizing marketing planning
- Accountable to enhance customer experience in alignment with logistics and Customer experience functions by evaluating the service quality and customer satisfaction
- Accountable for the company P&L and managing budgets planning monitoring expenses and ensuring that financial targets are met. He/She will work closely with the finance team to prepare financial reports and forecasts.
- Accountable for daytoday operations by implementing efficient processes and procedures. He/She will be involved in optimizing workflows improving productivity and resolving operational issues.
- Working closely with the product development team to define product roadmaps prioritize features and ensure that products are meeting customer needs and market demands.
- Identifying potential risks to the business and developing strategies to mitigate them. Also assessing market risks regulatory risks or operational risks that could impact the companys success.
Qualifications :
- At least 10 years of experience in consumer retail or CPG. Alternatively you might have worked in a consulting capacity in this industry and are looking forward to an operator role.
- Experience in building teams and leading crossfunctional projects at scale.
- Experience working within logistics real estate is also advantageous.
- Detailoriented structured and knows how to prioritize you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions.
- High level of commitment and resilience to succeed and willing to roll his/her sleeves up when required.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and able to manage relationships seniorlevel executives
- Ability to work with ambiguity and strong growth mindset.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills and always like to be handson with several tools
- Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders to rally behind a mission
- Strong network within the CPG industry and authorities
