Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development:
Design HVAC plumbing fire protection and electrical systems for modular buildings ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and functional requirements. - System Integration & Coordination:
Coordinate MEP systems within modular units collaborating with BIM teams and ensuring smooth integration with other building systems. - Project Support & Communication:
Provide technical guidance support project teams and ensure MEP systems are installed and commissioned on schedule and within budget. - Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure systems meet building codes sustainability standards (e.g. LEED) and perform quality checks onsite. - Troubleshooting & Sustainability:
Resolve technical issues optimize energy efficiency and suggest improvements for sustainable MEP solutions. - Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare technical drawings and reports track system progress and report any delays or issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Masters or certifications in MEP/sustainability a plus). - Experience:
35 years in MEP engineering with modular or prefabricated construction experience preferred. - Technical Skills:
Proficient in MEP design software (AutoCAD Revit MEP) and knowledge of building codes energy modelling and sustainable practices. - Soft Skills:
Strong problemsolving communication and project management skills with attention to detail.
