Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design plan and oversee the installation of MEP systems for construction projects.
- Conduct inspections to ensure that MEP systems are installed according to design specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with architects contractors and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems into project designs.
- Monitor the progress of MEPrelated work and ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Perform cost estimation budgeting and material procurement for MEP works.
- Ensure compliance with UAE safety standards and regulations related to mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to MEP systems during construction and postconstruction phases.
- Prepare and review detailed project reports including designs asbuilt drawings and specifications.
- Supervise MEP contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Manage maintenance schedules for MEP systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience:
- 510 years of experience as an MEP Engineer with at least 6 years in the UAE.
- Proven expertise in managing MEP systems for largescale construction projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit and other MEP tools.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations and standards for MEP systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project teams and contractors.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot MEP issues.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or a related Engineering field.
- Professional certifications in MEP or relevant disciplines are an advantage.
